Annual Installation of Office Bearers

A full house of members and visitors attended the Annual Installation of Office Bearers at Lodge Polmont No 793 on the 26th of November, including a large deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire headed by the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Bro. Andrew A McKinnon.  They witnessed Bro. Allan Simpson being installed as Master of the Lodge, together with the Installation of his Office Bearers.  The ceremony was expertly conducted by Bro William Fulton and Bro. Alex Muir, both Past Masters of Lodge Polmont.  Visitors from the many sister lodges present were warmly welcomed and the RWM-Elect of Lodge Dolphin No 911 replied on behalf of all the visiting brethren.
The next Regular Meeting of the Lodge will be on Wednesday 10th December at 7.30 pm. when the business of the evening will be minutes accounts etc. and a Third Degree.   All members and visiting brethren will be most welcome.  The Festival of St Andrew Dinner will be celebrated on Friday 5th December at 7.00 for 7.30 pm.  This promises to be an excellent evening and it’s not too late to get your name down, if you have not already done so – just contact any Office Bearer.

  1. My name is Caspar Brouwers, a brother in the Royal Art under the Regular Order of Freemasons under the Grand Orient of the Netherlands.

I am writing to you because I recently purchased a lot of various aprons online. Among these aprons is an apron and sash from your Lodge.

I sometimes buy such lots in the hope of being able to return home the Masonic regalia I acquired. I believe that such items do not belong in profane hands, especially because they can only be meaningful and relevant in their own environment.

I will be in Edinburgh in mid-January, and on Tuesday the 20th, brothers from my Lodge will perform a Dutch Entered Apprenticeship ritual in Edinburgh, followed by a Dutch festive board. It would be beneficial for us if someone from your Lodge could be present an join us during the evening to receive the apron.

We will be giving the demonstration-ritual at the Edinburgh Defensive Band Lodge 151’s meeting at The Lodge of Journeyman Masons No. 8’s premises at 63 Blackfriars Street, Edinburgh. Exact time is yet to be determined.

I look forward to hear from you.

I could not find any e-mail adres on your website (my mistake?) but I left mine.

    With fraternal regards

    Caspar Brouwers
