On Wednesday 27th March 2024 during our regular meeting, a 3rd degree carried out by the Past Masters of the Lodge, which just happened to be headed by Bro. Jim Bennie, he received at the conclusion of the ceremony, his well earned and definitely well deserved 60 yr diploma from none other than the RWSGMM Bro. John McKenzie. Immediately thereafter he was given Honorary Provincial rank of Honorary Director of Ceremonies for the Province of Stirlingshire by RWPGM Bro. Gordon Sewell. Congratulations Jim. On Saturday 29th June the Right Worshipful Master John Curry and several brethren of the lodge called on Brother William Marshall to present him with his 60 years Certificate. Brother Marshall recently celebrated his 100th Birthday and the Right Worshipful Master also delivered a letter from the Grand Lodge of Scotland congratulating Brother Marshall.
At a regular First Degree on Wednesday 25th September 2013 Brother James McLean was presented with his 60 years certificate. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Andrew McKinnon and a deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire visited Lodge Polmont to witness the presentation. Many brethren from sister lodges were also present to witness James receive his certificate.
